Pilkemaster EVO36 - Farmi WP36 Road tow Processor

Description

The Road tow version of the EVO36 that was previously called the Farmi WP36 Processor and comes with PTO drive as well as a choice of 11.7hp or 20hp Honda GX petrol engine, draw bar with ring hotch, braked axles, mudguards and lights.

Renowned for their incredible ease of use and high output, there are no drive belts and pulley’s, they are fully mechanical and other than the engine there is not a single electrical component on the processor.  The optional timber lifter makes them self-loading, and it will lift 3 to 4 meter long timber from the ground onto the processing bed.  The timber is then fed through to the cutting area with the unique walking floor infeed.  This is ‘V’ shaped, so it grips the timber during feeding and cutting, so there is almost no need to grip the timber whilst cutting.  The log length can be set from 15cm up to 60cm.  The chainsaw then cuts the timber, and the log drops a very short distance into the splitting chamber.  On the WP36-10 the 10-ton two speed splitting force then pushes the log through the splitting blade.  This is 2-4 way as standard and is adjustable in height.  The blade can be exchanged for a 6 way even 8-way blade.  Once split the logs are carried up a 4 meter long, hydraulic conveyor belt.  The belt is rubber and has grip bars spaced to give an even flow of logs up the conveyor. 

The conveyor slews left and right and is adjustable in height.  For easy transport the infeed folds vertically and the outfeed conveyor folds in half over the main machine.  The transport width is under 7 feet wide, and the overall length is 5.2m / 16ft 9 inches.

Our most popular Firewood processor has always been the Farmi WP36 Firewood processor, and we have sold a great many units in the UK.  However, very few people are aware that the Farmi WP 36 firewood processors were never actually manufactured by Farmi.  The Farmi WP36 firewood Processor was, and still is manufactured by Agromaster Oy in Finland.  The true name of the Farmi WP36 Processor is the Pilkemaster EVO36 Firewood Processor.  Farmi Forest used to re-badge the machine as the Farmi WP36 Firewood processor.

Globally the Farmi brand name became well-known for forestry trailers, winches, chippers and the WP36 Firewood Processor.  However, the company sadly ‘lost it way’ and global sales volume started dropping.  This downturn continued for many years and in the end in 2020 The Farmi company was sold to Ferrel AS of Estonia. 

Farmi now have a ‘web shop’ and the WP30 & WP36 firewood processors are offered on the web shop.  However, if you look at the pictures of all the Frami firewood processors you will see they are now called Pilkemaster and this includes the Pilkemaster EVO30, the Pilkemaster EVO36, Pilkemaster GO! And the Pilkemaster Super.  All of these are machine produced by Agromaster Oy.
